Here from WHITNEY DESIGN is this #ML-6688 dual purpose storage unit and bench seat. The exterior of this unit is woven with natural banana leaf. It has a strong inner wooden frame for strength and shape. It features two slide out drawers for storage. Each storage drawer is constructed from a strong wire frame and woven banana leaf. The bench seat features a padded seating cushion. This unit measures 34″ in length by 14.5″ in width by 19″ in height.
his looks really nice at the foot of my bed. It also makes a great seat. Wish they had a removeable cover for the cushion, thought. Being white, it needs to be covered (I use a throw) to keep from getting dirty. The pull-out drawers aren’t quite as easy as if this were a lift-up storage seat, but they hold a lot – I keep several pairs of my winter boots in them. All in all, this piece has a great tropical look and is a really good deal for the price. My suggestion would be for the company to offer several patterns for the cushion, and to make it zip-off removable for cleaning. I’d be willing to pay more for those options.
